Why are there 4 parts to medicare, not 5?

Providers almost never send bills to the Medigap carrier
I tell them the benefit of Medigap is that your doctor has almost no interaction with the Medigap company. Medicare makes all the decisions and the Gap just pays their portion when Medicare approves.

Medicare is generally an easier sale, but you really need to grab the Medicare and You book and learn MEDICARE vs just selling the product. That's were all of your hesitation is going to come from. Explaining the gap or MAPD product is usually quite simple...

It either works like their work insurance (generally) OR it fills the gaps of Medicare.

It's all the technical stuff that's going to bog you down and possibly screw up your prospect.
