Is this Commission Split Stipulation Reasonable?

If I were working for an independent agent and was receiving, for example, a 60me/40agency commission split would it be out of line to ask for a much higher percentage on a certain client base such as my friends and family? I would provide a list to the agency owner of the individuals who I would want to get this commission split out of. I'm thinking something more along the lines of 90/10 or even perhaps 100% for myself? Thanks.

You have to keep in mind the agent has to pay for supplies and they are his appointments. 60/40 seems fair to me, maybe 70/30 on your friends and family. I would not do 90 or 100% because it is their e&o on he line as well. Good luck.
