Can someone please explain the difference between these? I know what the acronyms mean, but not the difference(s) between them.

FMO is health insurance.

IMO is Life insurance...MGA is lower on the food chain..

MGA can have 1 to 10 agents

IMO has a lot more..

The reality is there are no industry standards. IMO/FMO is usually a top level contract between a large agency (licensed in almost every state, thousands of agents), other than that people make up whatever they want to call themselves.
