BCBS of NC MAPD Contracting

Does anyone know how BCBS of NC does their MAPD contracting? I know on their individual health side of biz it's pretty much a captive arrangement.

basically the same thing... have to write 100 mapds during the year to keep the contract... only do classes 1 time a year, this years were in august, to sell the product

So there are no FMO's that do the contracting with them?

I have heard they selected 2 FMO's, but I don't know who they are.

there are 2, can't remember the names. one was a small agency in raleigh with 10 people, the other is in Winston Salem, but he was only allowed to bring 10 on as well was the word on the street
