Individual (Obamacare) Plan, T65

no offense KGB but texas does offer aca plans to over 65... sorry but they do... I got bout 10 that are getting subsidy... try the exchange sometimes

no aca plan if getting medicare....

Please note the original post "client on Medicare" and my comment "over 65 if you are on Medicare".

I understand that you can get an ACA policy if not on Medicare. But I appreciate that you were being sweet when correcting me ;)

Thanks Blue, so Medicare is primary and the IFP is secondary?

Client considering keeping their current plan because of the number of meds and Part D sucks vs their current plan.

Medicare Part A is "automatic". If you refuse Part A you can't collect SS. Re-enrolling in A is a PITA.

Yes, Medicare primary and you're welcome.

They better put pen to paper and figure out costs by staying on the plan to cover drugs, when I looked at the rates last night for a cheap silver plan in central Florida it was $855 per month now, no telling what the rate increase will be, I imagine over $1000 per month in 2015.
