Yeah, I agree. Unless getting it in writing and having client sign and date that you recommended replacement cost. CYOA but still a not worth the headaches it will cause at claim time.

Sometimes ACV is the only thing available because of age or condition. ACV is also pretty common on UNscheduled personal property.

AV is usually used for scheduled personal property, I haven't actually seen it on a dwelling coverage.
