Commissions After a Contract

How are commissions handled after a contract is terminated. Or should they still be paid to you? Not sure how these situations are normally handled.

I read it, but I've learned that there is no standard in this industry and this is the first time I've come across such a clause.

Not meaning to give you a hard time, but if you're asking for an industry standard when you know there is one, that seems like an odd question.

Nonetheless, what type of a contract is it and why was it cancelled?

In the MA world, not a chance.

In the life world, you would still get your renewals.

In both of those situations I'm referencing the carrier standards, if your upline and/or carrier has something different in place, that would obviously alter things, but there are too many variables here to give you a definitive answer one way or the other. Hope that helps.

I'm going into the health world, so I was not sure. I've been primarily doing life business. No contracts have been canceled; again, I was just reading them and I was curious.
