Almost everyone in the insurance business doing more than 500k pays for leads.

Even the big venture/captive agencies like Policygenius, Haven, Meetbreeze etc.all buy leads too.

I would suggest you go work for a captive like State Farm part time. See how you like it. They're not going to make you pay for leads.

If you like the business, you can go independent later, after a year or two.
