Depending on age(s), need/want, underwriting -- I think there are some good carriers here to look at. On a case like this, I tend to look at multiple carriers, shop, look at multiple offers (even preliminary or tentative), etc.

Midland has a really good no lapse product. Built in LTC and Critical illness benefit that waives policy costs when activated meaning no premiums necessary while on claim.
Underwriting isn't super aggressive, especially over age 75 but it's fair and I get to talk to my underwriter and can get her to give me a table or two when I need it to place a case.
