How do you go and prospect for these franchise owners?

What's the best way to contact them?

Why? How are the needs of a franchise owner different from any other business owner? I'm curious as to your thinking on this...

In my area some franchised "name" stores (i.e. fast food) are owned by one corporation who offers a group plan to managers and some employees. However, some mangers might want better/different and portable coverage. It is not a market I would try at my level of experience, but for someone who has been doing this for many years, it might be a good market?

I'm quite new in the insurance business. I thought the franchise owners are good prospects since around the city, a lot of franchise business are mushrooming.

I hope you can help me on how to approach them.
