Those countries are the happiest on earth, they do have higher tax rates but get so much more for it than we do and their healthcare system works very well. I’ve said for 10+ years that Medicare for all is our only real solution to our current and future healthcare crisis. And, can you imagine the supplement opportunities for an agent!!!!!!!!

Something no one takes into account when saying other countries health care is superior to the US is research. How much do they invest in developing and bring new drugs to market?.. innovative equipment and procedures? Research? Some of those countries do almost none and depend upon the US for the bulk of their progress.

My son-in-laws brother lives in Germany. He had a hip replacement at about the same time my wife had one here in the states. I can tell you hat he though he had no worries about paying the bills, his care and his progress was nowhere close to what my wife's was.. I don't know that we have any hospitals left around here that had 6+ bed patient wards.

The US health care system is second to none.. The mistake we have made is letting the socialists get away with calling insurance "health care" which it isn't. It simply the tool for financing the payment of health care services. Calling insurance heath care si the equivalent of calling auto financing automotive manufacturing.

Take the claim that there are 44 million people without health care. That is not true. There are 44 million that do not have "health insurance" but all of them have access to health care as they can go to any emergency room and they must receive treatment. There are also programs to help indigent people. And, may of those people could pay for basic health care out of pocket or purchase insurance but refuse to do so. The new Truck, Boat, Trailer, etc. is more important to them than insurance.

At the moment there is no health care crisis. But, I guarantee you one once you put the government in charge of the whole ball of wax.. Think, Driver's License Dept in terms of healthcare..

Universal healthcare works in almost all of the civilized world; the propaganda spread by the insurance industry and the AMA has been very effective in this country. What we have now is unsustainable unless you are among the wealthy. There is a huge number of sick folks that have to go without treatment every day because they can’t afford it and that is unconscionable in what is supposed to be the greatest country on earth.

To which of those countries would you prefer to go for care if you have a serious illness? If they all work so well, surely there is one. Me, I will stay here with our "broken" system.

See, I told you their propaganda campaigns were working. The prez of UHC came out this week and said that it will be the end of times if we pass Medicare for all!!!!!! No, big insurance will lose their gravy train.

I see plenty of people and there is no "health care" crisis.. There may be a lack of insurance coverage crisis but a lot of that people bring on themselves by putting the bigger house, the nicer car, truck, boat, tennis shoes, ect. ahead of paying for insurance. coverage. I know there are some medicine out there that people might not be able to afford but guess what? The people in the social medicine cuntries don't even have the option of many of those medicines available. I don't see Americans knocking the door down to be treated in Canada, England, France, Germany, etc. But I see those people coming to this country for treatment.
