Yep. Once the bank account is empty, that is all you can own. Now, if you can tap into another person's account, you can double up.

There is no limit. Unless you are on Medicaid. Then other people can own the policies with no limit.

There is a limit how much life insurance a carrier will issue on a single life, dependent on age and income.
