I have been in insurance sales for almost 10 years. The past 6 years I have sold MAPD captive with several companies. I started sellling final expense as a broker 6 months ago and things are going okay. I was contacted by a new manager to see if I would be interested in joining him at Mutual of Omaha. I know it is primarily captive, but I think there is an opportunity to sell some other carriers and I was told I would keep my renewals. Any feedback on working for them? I know they have about the lowest Med Supp premium around so I should have good opportunities cross selling. I could use some more training and support on the life insurance side though.

Their FE product is not real competitive. Their med sup is very competitive.
If they give you lists of their med sup policy holders to contact about FE it could be valuable. I think they are more interested in selling their base by direct mail though and bypassing agents.
