By the basis of the title, I'm not trying to promote, advertising or seek out business here. I've been in the direct mail industry for my whole entire life and took a hiatus while working for a financial insurance company selling annuities. They did regular seminars, using direct mail to source prospects, which I managed for the business.
I know the FMO they were working with has hundreds of agents across the US and would like to try to start my own business, in conjunction with my family's direct mail facility to help drive seminar mailings.
My question is what advice can any agents, marketers, and professions give me to help distinguish myself against the competition. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
