Strange case

Wrote a 48MNT a $500,000 30YLT with Banner. He receives SS disability for a back injury and told me he took Oxycodone as needed. After underwriting the application fully it was issued preferred. He also applied for a $25,000WL with Lafayette. Lafayette declined him today because of the pharmacy check. I spoke to the underwriter and he said they found multiple narcotics and said he is under pain management. Wonder why Banner wasn't concerned? Would any FE carrier consider him?

Seems odd assuming they both had the same RX information.

Tons of fe carriers take pain meds . Was he prescribed Narcan ?Its funny i wrote one a few months ago and the guy said he was prescribed Narcan . Trinity never even asked him about it .

Lafayette did mention that drug. Who should I apply with in FL?

Am Am , accendo should take if only pain meds . I think fe CO’s have had adverse claims with heavy pain meds and some like Trans tightened up there underwriting.
