When Settlers closed they terminated everyone. Agents receive lifetime renewals on business with them. If an agent replaces a policy or multiple policies on the books with them is he in jeopardy of losing the renewals ?
They did not like internal replacements when they were an active company.

That is what the termination letter said... And, since they do not expect any new business from you the odds are they will enforce even more strictly than most carriers. If you are getting sizable renewals from them it would not be worth taking the chance.

And if not... take your business elsewhere.

Never read the letter.
The client has been with me since 2014. He lapsed and is now in ETI until 2027. He has $645 CV.
Male 58,NT,preferred.
Rewrite candidates.
Virginia requires a form adding or replacing.

That is not replacement (in TN at least) .. Replacement is when you replace an active in-force policy..

If client does NOT have an active policy, it's not an issue at all. If it is inforce, it may be a problem. Since it lapsed, there is nothing they can do

So if the policy is now in the ETI option or RPU it’s not an active in force policy?

if the insured is intending to surrender the ETI and get his CV it’s not a replacement?
