Trump

Re: A Trump Presidency & Life Insurance & Taxes

I don't think you're looking at the big picture. Trump would be a moron to make people believe that he's scared of Megyn Kelly. Quite frankly, this is the first time that I've heard of anybody looking at it that way. Trump is a marketing genius. Every move that he makes is calculated, and seems to work in his favor. You can't seriously think that someone in his position is that stupid.

He has spinned it to say that he won't do business with people that are unfair and disrespectful like China or Mexico. He went on to say that we are constantly taken advantage of by other countries and he isn't going to let Fox do that to him and when he is president he won't let anyone do that to this country.

Again - like you, think his political strategy is genius.

"I don't think you're looking at the big picture. Trump would be a moron to make people believe that he's scared of Megyn Kelly."

Again, you guys might not be the best place to get a "world view" on a situation, because if my mentioning it is the first you've heard of it, well you're not paying a whole lot of attention to a lot of sources out there.

Agreed Trump is a salesman and this is a calculated risk he is taking on here and it could work or it could damage his campaign considerably.

Again it comes down to dealing with tough situations and him bailing. He's done this many times professionally. Trump is fine as long as he controls things and gets his way. That's not always going to be the case in politics.

As much as you guys hate Obama, half the country loves the guy. That's what it is to be president. So what's Trump going to do?

This isn't the first I heard this, it's been said non stop for 2 days now. There is no person worse than the "It's my way or no way" attitude than Obama. There is no negotiating with him, yet he is doing just fine (according to his supporters), I have no issues with Trump's aggressiveness and "bailing" personality. The man clearly knows how to negotiate and to say he is afraid or cracks under pressure is just the media's opinion, but when you look at the facts of what he has done in the business world, he proves it wrong. It is his way or no way because he usually always has the leverage and as the president it should be the same way towards other countries because they need us much more than we need them - so like he says - let's quit being taken advantage of and take care of America first.

" but when you look at the facts of what he has done in the business world, he proves it wrong"

The bankruptcies? the lawsuits? His university?

Nah, not going to carry on about this. We'll see soon enough.

You may just be a little too invested in him as a candidate.

He just reminds me of agents who bluff their way through the sales process because you'll never see them again after vs. agents who detail (and there is the key word with Trump, lots of sales talk and no detail) things to a client and become a trusted source for information in the future.

Basically what I hear is somebody BSing their way through a sale. If there was a GOPer the demos should be afraid of I would think it's Rubio. He's more detail oriented, but not as showy as the two in front of him.

Fight Club is more interesting

So are my emails all of a sudden... ;)

Let's remember fellas, while we may disagree politically, we should all behave professionally everywhere else but here. This is our playground as I understand it.

If you can't leave it here, don't come here. Do not spam emails or stalk facebook pages. That's creepy no matter what political bent you may be.

While I see the humor in what was done, it doesn't take much to push things too far. Again, I would like to think I am dealing with fellow professionals here. When you step outside that expected level of professionalism, you really put the other guy at as much risk as yourself.

But it was funny.. and it's good I have a sense of humor, to a point.

Cheers.

Not sure what you are talking about but guessing someone ordered multiple virtual pizzas to your inbox.

I take little here to seriously. I certainly do not get my views here.

Something like that. ;) Not quite as bad as bob last year, but don't want it to deal with that kind of stuff again.

However I did find out the environmental impact of my boat on the 27000 sq acre lake I boat on. Was able to break things down to the teaspoon. Which actually was pretty interesting.

Here's the BIG problem. Elections have become a popularity contest. Sadly, the most popular person doesn't make them the best person for the job. We have too many politicians at all levels who really shouldn't be in that position. Can anyone seriously tell me Hank Johnson is the best option for his congressional district? If you don't know who he his, google him with the word Guam included in the search. He's concerned Guam will tip over if we put a military base there.

No. That is what it is like to have half the country dependent on free stuff. And Bernie's appeal is 100% based on upping the free stuff- because socialism worked out so well in Cuba and the Soviet Union. Of course that one potato you got for free every month was an exhilarating perk.

Wise up.

Here's the BIG problem. Elections have become a popularity contest..

That's why Hillary is all set as long as Joe does not enter the race. Most people, certainly dems included, don't like Hillary and know her to be crooked. Joe is a Space Monkey lacking the brains that god gave a goose but he could win a popularity contest against her.

Of course if Hillary wins both iowa (good chance but not excellent) and New Hampshire (not gonna happen) and does not get indicted she is all set. Otherwise, not so much. If she loses both iowa and nh and is indicted then it is el flucko time for her.

Heh, I was watching Ed Rollins (reagan's campaign manager) the other night when he was talking about the email thing. He said "this just goes back to where it all began with Hillary. She could not find the documents that were subpoened in the Whitewater Case. Then three years later they were found in her closet." Oh, how far we have come.
