Trying to understand the Medicare / MA sales process

Back in my corporate days I worked with an agency that was very tight with a medical group. So tight that the group would send mailers to all their patients on behalf of the broker inviting them to events at the clinics. Needless to say the endorsement helped the broker write a lot of business. But it was a compliance nightmare with a laundry list of rules being broken (this was 5-6 years ago, could have changed now).

I'm sure it can be done compliantly, but everyone needs to understand the rules. From the provider side I don't see the risk being worth the reward. But then again I have never been a provider. Good luck
