A forgotten prospect calls to let me know he doesn't want a life policy

Had someone else call me today, just to tell me to go fork myself, and she wasn't returning a call from me either. I may have been rubbing some people the wrong way lately, apparently, it started about two months ago.

Then I would, then send her a picture of said self Forking.

Just kidding Sam !!! :1frown: Don't Cancel me Bro!!!

I would email and thank him for the call and ask a couple questions...

"Is that no for right now or forever? "

" I also work with annuities, medicare, etc.. "

"If I see something that might help you, can I send it to you?"

Try to be politely persistent. I have added clients five years after the first sales call. We don't know what is going on and something else completely non related to what we do may be the problem.

Stay friendly and helpful and see what happens... think of referrals down the road.

Which direction are you rubbing people? Remember the direction is important, keep it going the same way the hair is growing.

Had one of my worst interviews in over 10 years and it bugged me the whole day. A call like that can really ruin your week. Don't get so introspective that it cripples your brain. Move forward. :)
