He's right. Cold calling works when you have more time than money. Otherwise hire a telemarketer to make the calls and warm up the prospects. Search the salesgenie for 50 - 65 years old with lower income and lower education levels. Those are your best prospects for FE polices.
 
salesgenie didn't work for us ... but cold calling isn't a terrible form of advertising. When i started i held seminars and group meetings. My goal is always to obviously get myself and my product in front of as many people as possible. Work your warm market. Talk to people. Then buy leads. Work up a profit to hire somebody to work the leads for you while your out there meeting new people. then build a website. Put your website in as many places as you possibly can.
