Exactly. But a financial advisor who can effectively market their practice and services can easily make over 500k.

It’s not “easy” to make 500k regardless what you do.

It isn't easy to make that money, I'm talking about the income potential.
I'm in that space and know what I see every day so I'm not snowed by some BS.
My point is agreeing with you. Independence can be great but isnt for everyone. Just because an employee makes less than a business owner doesn't make the employee job bad.

And considering how managers train nowadays to build their practice around the fee based model, it's probably a smarter move for many.
