Growing My Business (help Me)

I have always suggested not going after friends and family....for 2 reasons...

1, save them for when you have a quota number you have to hit or need a couple policies for a bonus or something like that,

2, Your friends and Family will know you are new to the business and not have a damn clue what you are doing!

After a few years, the friends and family will come to you when they get comfortable with your business and success.
 
Thanks for the response. I recently left my job at a large mutual to join a smaller mom&pop independent agency so that I have the ability to x sell with life and P&C.
 
Where is the a good site to buy aged leads? I have been working in life insurance for about 6 months and I would like to target final expense with aged leads.
