Hiring Someone to Create a Website Any Opinions?

I worked with a fair number of agents from this forum to design their sites. Probably about 80% of them bring up on our first call that they do not want their site to be in any thread on this forum. I think we've already seen the reason.

For a FYI, examples of my sites are on my site in the "our work" section and I do not charge anything down until the design is approved. You don't like it - you don't pay for it.

Ask other web designers to create their site, complete with a custom layout, custom colors and custom graphics with nothing down and see what they say:-)

When you provide an unsolicited endorsement of someone selling their services on the forum and then hesitate to show what you endorsed, it begs the question WHY.
