I Must Be a Democrat

Here here! Lllkkkk
Speaking of that, where's Donnie been? Did he take the whole month of December off?

Ehhh, maybe he finally realized that half the posters on here are fake or have multiple screen names, and decided to spend his free time with the family, instead of wasting away with us!

Spoke with him the other day, he is good other than taking several newly prescribed anti hyperactive meds. Let see if that will bring him out:D

I'm not a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Socialist, or any other thing you can come up with, but I just have to ask... When is the last time a Republican came up with a solution for anything. They're more about blocking what anyone else comes up with!

I agree that ALL politicians are greedy scum. But I think the Repubs have done much better for the country than the Dems. But neither s looking out for the country. They all just try to get re-elected.

But you might need to read a book or two. Start with Abraham Lincoln and don't stop until at least Ronald Reagan.

Often blocking bills from being passed is the solution

Well said Newby, they really are a bunch of scum...the lot of them. There's no doubt that this is what's causing the popularity of Bernie on the left and Trump on the right. The peeps (US) are sick and tired of all the bullshit and appreciate straight talk.

I'm no Bernie Sanders fan but I have to give it to the guy, he has his position and he sticks with it. Hell, he's even for breaking up the too big to fail banks...not bad. Would I choose him over Trump? Honestly NO, he's still a socialist with a socialist agenda, as are the majority of the Dems, at least he's honest enough to admit it.

This turmoil is EXACTLY what we need to move forward.

My 2c as an white African American.

Come on, you're either a left leaner or you are pulling our legs. When you have a socialist as the president who is proposing socialist programs, you block them. You don't propose a socialist lite version. By the way, I am NOT a rebublican but what exactly have those pansy asses blocked??? What should they not have blocked?

I've said this recently to someone and I'll say it here in writing. There never has been and never will be one person or a group of persons that are always right or always wrong. That's why I won't affiliate myself with any one group.

As for what the Republitards have blocked or tried to block? How about everything that the Democraps have come up with. I'm just referring to the Obama era here, nothing before. I'm sure we could go back many years, but I'll just talk about the last 8.

I do like to give credit where credit is due. Is ObamaCare the best thing since sliced bread? Hell no! But at least they did something. Obama even kept going back to the Rep's and telling them, "Let's see what you've got". We all heard the crickets on that. The only thing the Rep's did was complain. No solutions, no ideas....nothing!

Same thing with taxes. You'll hear something about revamping the IRS or the tax system and how "I'll do this" or "I'll do that". This happens every election. What happens after the election? Not one damned thing! It doesn't matter what party affiliation they have, it's still all promises and no delivery.

Either way you shake it, it's the same old crap day in and day out.

Of course, there is one other thing about all of this. You'll never satisfy everyone no matter what you do. Someone will always complain.

Thomas Jefferson said that the government should be completely overthrown every 200 years or so. We're way overdue Mr. Jefferson!

I'm probably going to end up voting for Trump. I'm thinking that it will have to be the most entertaining 4 years in our country's history! Should be a hoot! :swoon:
