First, IMO, sharing a clients private info would be a huge HIPPA violation. Second, the funeral deal might work some in urban areas but I can’t see it being worth a damn in rural areas. When someone passes away the last thing the family wants to do is shop around for funeral services. In rural areas they’ve probably already done that or all they have to do pick up the phone and call one of the two FHs, even if there is a second one.
