After this mess hit the streets, I was appalled to discover that commissions with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas are *not* vested. Not at all. Not one day.

There is the standard paragraph that says either party can cancel the contract with no reason at all with 60 days notice.

Once the contract is canceled, regardless of the reason, ALL commissions CEASE.

Color me stupid for making presumptions. What a mickey mouse way to do business.

No more Texas Blues for me.

Isn't Humana the same way ?

No. Humana's contract states that they pay commissions "if they feel like it." That's different.
