Don't want to wait till January for ACA. Are there good options out there? I haven't been to the doc in a while. Last time I was there my health was good. So no pre existing illnesses .

I was on the phone with one guy who said I can get 80/20 insurance with 1000 deductible and 25 copay doctor visit and 50 copay for specialists. With million yearly limit. No pre existing illnesses covered. For 254 a month. Sounded a bit too good to be true. I really don't trust the over the phone agent thing anyway ...Define "good"
COULD be a short term medical plan.....now if it is USHEALTH run for the hills.....I was on the phone with one guy who said I can get 80/20 insurance with 1000 deductible and 25 copay doctor visit and 50 copay for specialists. It's not me, but yeah it's a similar situation to that. He hasn't been to the doc in years so there are no notes anywhere about anything he's experiencing now. He's having mild symptoms that could be very minor or could be major. If he just goes in and says that he's not experiencing anything but just wanted a checkup and blood work, I don't see how they can say that he was experiencing anything. If it's something major the doctor will find it on his own..In another post you asked about what constitutes pre existing and on this one you posted that you need a plan right now and haven't been to the doc for a while. What scared you and what are you trying to hide? If you have ever been treated for a condition or a physician made notes about it there is a good chance there is a record of it on your MIB. If the insurer thinks that you might have had a clue to a condition, even if nothing showed up prior to binding the policy, they could easily deny coverage or cancel the policy if they felt like you were not honest on the application
