So for the Humana case I wrote with a mid-year eff date. I received $124.93 on 5/25/16, then $304.17 on 6/8/16 = $429; so I received the full year comp; don't know why they break it up into two payments?

First they give you pro-rated amount based on the enrollment not being a first time MA for the beneficiary. Once the carrier gets CMS confirmation it is a first timer, they pay you the full year "true-up" amount, which is $429 in most states. So for the Humana case I wrote with a mid-year eff date.
