I am a newly licensed general p&c agent. I would like to know how I go about getting appointed and how difficult it is to start my own agency?

Hey man. Welcom to the forum. You need to work as a producer under an agent before stating your own agency. The wa I've found most effective is to go on the websites for state farm, allstate, farmers etc. Click find an agent and call them to see if they are hiring.
