Newly Licensed, can I submit apps while traveling out of the US?
Must be licensed in the State where the application is signed - whether wet, esig, email, etc.

Where the "Agent" is when completing the application does not matter.

Are you referring to the owner's sig. or the proposed insured's sig. or the agent's sig.? Just funning. I know the correct answer. The agent must be licensed and appointed with the carrier in the same state that the owner of the policy signs the app or is recorded from.

I've written Ms Jones, who is in NC where I'm licensed, a GI policy on her son who is incarcerated out in Ca. where I'm not licensed. Ms. Jones, the mother, signs the app as the owner and payor, and is the primary bene. And the son does not sign anything nor is recorded nor is involved in anyway with this sale. I'm assuming all the other carriers do the same thing across the board with an issue like this.
All the above is correct . . .

Good idea to write yourself a critical illness policy before heading there, maybe an ADD for the possibly dismemberment of a kidney & some extra expense to get the body back out of ocean & back to the states

Ha - I avoid those parts of Mexico . . .

What about being Lorena Bobbitted? Do they cover that as it was an intentional act & Dis"member"ment, so doubt ADD would cover that, but then again, it did kill his future offspring
That depends on if the dog swallowed the member. In Dwayne's case I guess the dog didn't swallow, so they were able to reattach it and he became a porn star with the crooked member.:twitchy:

Your saying if a mother I’m writing lives in Texas . The son lives in Ohio . I’m licensed in Ohio and not Texas .The son is going to be the owner and payor . Your saying I can write this ? What about the insureds signature ? Don’t they have to sign the app?
