Selling Mortgage Protection by Phone

Does anyone do this? I know Jeff Root is well known for selling by phone. Looking for some guidance/input. Do you screen share with the clients? Skype? Is it a one call close?

I'm all of my years in phone sales we were always taught one call closes. I couldn't imagine why MP or any other product would be any different? I don't know why you'd screen share either? Just curious if you made any more progress towards this.
 
I tried doing term by phone a while back, it didn't work out.

My biggest obstacle was, it's hard to get a feel if the prospect is serious or bs, f2f when you look them in the eye it's easier to know.
