Why do you need approval from CMS if you only sell medicare supplement and not Med Advantsge or PDP?

And some states are implementing this. Just found this out this morning. TX is one of them. So, it looks like the bottom line is to not have Medicare in the name anywhere no matter if you sell Part C and D or not.

The thought process on this has been going on for years. Looks like they are finally drawing the line.

dozen+ commercial websites that use the name medicare. Some are even set up as .org. Easy to see why some folks would be confused and think thevare dealing directly with Medicare.
