Use the states x-mod list as a call list it works thats what my company does for our agents when we call for them.

Also you could go to AgentSecure.com, they have a nice streamline quoting process, have good markets and the commissions are not too bad. You do have to pay a monthly fee though to be a member.

I am checking with First Comp, their application wants to have previous experience...do they accept new agencies that have written 0 policies in this area? we have 6 months worth of P&C on hand..but they do not as for that in the app.

They actually told me today that they are not appointing in my area. This is code for "go away". I actually have over 300k with them through a GA, they still wouldnt look at us.

I am guessing you are in Southern CA. They have a much higher loss ratio south of Bakersfield so they are tightening up.
