Thats true. Also as I have stated here on several occasions, let prospects feel good when they are buying insurance coverage even if it is not from you.

Found this thread today while researching Colonial Penn. If you can't beat their rates, make sure you check your client's height and weight. I went to the CP website and entered "no" to all the health questions and put client's height and weight, but came up as a decline because of the H/W requirement.

I just sat down with a guy that sent off his application for a policy with colonial Penn today. He wanted 10k and the monthly premium was $76. The closest I could get was $83 with Assurity as he is a smoker. I looked over the pamphlet and it is a level plan and made no mention of tobacco use on the rate sheet.

Has anyone else seen this? When he said Colonial Penn I was sure I could crush it but instead got crushed.

Colonial Penn's rates are terrible. I bet they offered this guy 1 unit of life insurance along with 9K of ADD and tried to pass it off as 10k in level coverage.
