Does UHC Require Underwriting to Go from Plan N to F?

Could be a state by state but in Fl there is no underwriting for post modernization med supp switching up or down- or least there wasn't last time I did this.Could be because telesales agent was wrong or it could be because this benefit is not in writing anywhere and they recently changed the rules.

You point out another inconsistency with their rules.I have been told by the AARP/UHC customer service that they are not allowed to have agents on 3 way calls with members but the field agent manager for AARP/UHC med supp sales for SouthEastern States said it is allowed.

I have had no problems switching clients in various states with UHC no underwriting

We are allowed to do 3 way calls,They will ask client if client gives permission.

I have found from time to time a rep on UHC line will give false info and sometimes arrogant about it as well.

My up line advice is to hang as if disconnected and call again

This has kept me out of trouble with them. Because in me sometimes I want to argue back but that gets no ware except notes in their files
