No, but it's a great way to prove loyalty or to reward your recruiter for introducing you to the "opportunity" or to demonstrate a willingness to follow the "winning system" which inevitably means becoming a product of the product. And sitting through an FNA (sales pitch) is actually part of the initial training script. Nobody in MLM has to buy anything......but they do all the same.
