jdeasy said in an earlier post that he told the customer to call him for anything they needed, He said he tells the customer to not call the company for anything but to call him instead. Is this how must people do it? Makes a lot of sense to me.

Not speaking for any agents here but by my experience it definitely is not the norm. It is how we do it.
