Appointment Setting Methods

How many here call for appointments versus door knocking all leads?

1. Appointment setters calls and sets appts.
2. I go to appt and write apps.
3. I only door knock leads where the appt setter cant get in touch with them.
4. If they tell my appt setter to pound sand I add their name and number to the craigslist man 4 man or women 4 women casual encounters area:D

It all works some of the time.

I prefer pre-set appointments because there is nothing more exciting have 8-11 already done-for-you appointments; you know you're going to write something!

I've done more door-knocking as of late; even though it is less efficient than having a bunch of appointments set, you will definitely get more opportunities for appointments face-to-face than setting them over the phone.

Many of these people never answer the phone, and the first person to show up usually is the one to sell them.

Is that why all these people keep calling wanting to take me on a date???? Should have known it was you!
 
How many here call for appointments versus door knocking all leads?

I make recommendations based on the agent's "phone talent" and amount of regular weekly leads

1. 20 Leads or less a week should be Door Knocked only

2. 30+ Leads a week, call and set appointments and door knock in between / If you're not good on the phone, make a few calls off each batch of leads until your confidence level and phone abilities get better

3. 40+ Leads then you should be calling all the leads

Finding a good appointment setter is like going into the casino to gamble. You might win but most likely, will lose your ass. I ran through several setters before finding one that wasn't horrible. She get's appointments off of 50%-60% of our leads.

An agent that uses an appointment setter should already be successful and in the frame of mind to up his lead count and have more sits/sales.

And take into account what agent 5 said. He ran thru several before he found one that wasn't horrible.Thats saying a lot as this appt setter has an allegiance to agent 5.If another agent used her she wouldn't do nearly as good a job for them as her main priority is taking care of Doug and I don't blame them. It shows how hard it is to find a setter who won't burn thru your leads.

I started giving my appt setter 'surprise' bonuses. That definitely helps with loyalty.
