You could set aside 30% or 80%. It doesn't really matter. It all works out the same for you...

I always use 20% lapse and nt. 2500 written means 2000 paid.
When I was really writing(12k-17k) per month it was 30%.
Now if I really think they do not want it or they are too
hard to close I let it go. That has reduced my chargebacks
but I also write a lot less biz. I also work about one third the
number of leads I used to work.

If an agent will actually put that 30% back and not touch it except to cover CBs, OK.. Most agents won't.
Kinda like final expense clients failing to plan
