If You Have No Activity for 6 Months Can You Move a Contract?

My experience is 6 months of inactivity you can get a release. Unless you contracted with a company like NAA. They have a 12 month lock on moving contracts regardless whether or not you have produced any business.

6 months to move to a different IMO without any activity is the norm. An additional 6 months if you want to increase the contract percentage. You should try to work with your current IMO.

Foresters and UHL are the only companies that I can think of who do that. Most companies don't have that rule.
