SEP for PartD?

Thanks for all your input! I have offered the options and she is thinking it over. Her Rx bill is $250 / month -- so donut whole in the eleventh month. She would have 1% for going without creditable coverage for 4 months. She will save $$$$.

I have replaced creditable group with PartD for a few similar cases and succeeded. However, I don't want to get spanked if I get some sharpie at the home office blocking this.

I do sell PartD Plans. I will continue to do so. I get a lot of good leads by offering PartD. Beats paying for them!

I'll tell them that other agent's won't bother helping them and that's the difference between a dabbler and a professional. It builds client loyalty!

She won't have the doughnut hole this year because her rx coverage would reset January 1st. (If she enrolls in a plan in Aug/Sept). Next year, the pharmacutical companies will start covering 50% of namebrand drugs for those in the doughnut hole. They're supposed to start that in August of 2010 from what I've read
