I heard that Bourbon is made in Mexico with the parts imported from Japan. So you're really drinking foreign made products.

Yeah, but they are assembled in KY.. Hence the name Kentucky Bourbon.

Sometimes you just don't know what you don't know. Federal regulation since 1964 says that it has to be produced in the United States if it's labeled "bourbon". Nor can it be sold as bourbon is made outside he United States.
